The curriculum offers only facilitating or ‘hard’ A Level courses, in order to give students the opportunity to progress to top universities. The curriculum consists of Art, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, D&T (Engineering), Economics, English Literature, French, Further Maths, Geography, History, Maths, Physics, Politics, Psychology and Spanish.
All students have the opportunity to choose four A Level subjects, with a further option of the Extended Project Qualification. It is envisaged that the majority of students will continue with four courses until the end of year 12, then studying three in year 13. Some students may drop to three qualifications from the end of term one in year 12 and others will continue with four subjects to the end of year 13.
