London Academy of Excellence in Tottenham has been named The Sunday Times Sixth Form College of the Year by Parent Power, The Sunday Times Schools Guide, published in The Sunday Times and online this Sunday, November 29.
Thanks to generous support from investment firm Rokos Capital Management, Chrysalis East will see LAE Tottenham supply independent school-standard teaching in its four Tottenham feeder schools – Duke’s Aldridge Academy, Gladesmore Community School, Park View School and Woodside High School – from January, 2021.
The summer school programme was delivered throughout the third week of August by Highgate School, in partnership with the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham (LAET) - a state-funded Sixth Form based within the Club’s stadium development scheme.
On Friday 07 February 2020, Highgate School won two accolades at the 2020 TES Independent School Awards: Senior School of the Year and Independent School of the Year.
A team of twelve LAE Tottenham students, all from Year 12, spent the entire day on Saturday 07 December at Imperial College representing the school in the UK’s largest Space Design competition; an Engineering project challenge to design a mining base in the asteroid belt.
On Friday 18 October, students and staff from LAE Tottenham and Highgate School walked across North London to raise over £82,000 for Ugandan school, Great Lakes High School.

A-Level Art students from the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham (LAET) have been given the chance to publicly showcase their work to celebrate the end of their two-year course.
Working to a site-specific brief, the A-Level Art students collaborated with their peers from Highgate on an ambitious show at the Candid Arts Centre in Islington.
